IE8 Reliability Update For Windows 7 Beta
Microsoft has released a reliability update for Internet Explorer 8 running on Windows 7 Beta that should improve the web browser’s reliability and stability on the Windows 7 platform. A recent post on the IEBlog by program manager Herman Ng explained why they did release the update in detail:
The term reliability is used in a broader fashion including all types of stability problems like crashes, memory leaks or hangs among other things. Microsoft did use the information gathered by windows Error Reporting and the Customer Experience Improvement Program to get an overview of common problems with Internet Explorer 8.
